Complete Streets and Traffic Safety

Pedestrian and traffic safety—particularly for children traveling to and from school—was the focus of the March 10 Larchmont–Mamaroneck Local Summit breakfast program. Community advocates, engineers, and municipal officials discussed ongoing efforts to make streets safer for everyone. Panelists included:

• Michael Smeets, founder of the Larchmont Mamaroneck Ped-Bike Alliance and co-chair of the Mamaroneck Safe Routes to School committee
