SUMMIT LEADERSHIP

Who Runs the Summit?

The Local Summit, founded in 1995, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and is governed by a board of directors which elects its officers.

The Local Summit tries to recruit Board members from each of the four local municipalities (Mamaroneck Village, Mamaroneck Town, Larchmont Village and Rye Neck) and seeks board representation from every community not-for-profit. Among the community not-for-profits that are or have been represented are: the Hispanic Resource Center; Cancer Support Team; League of Women Voters; Inter-faith Council; At Home on the Sound; SHORE (Sheltering the Homeless is Our Responsibility); RADAR; Community Counseling Center; Mamaroneck Schools Foundation; Larchmont-Mamaroneck Hunger Task Force; Washingtonville Housing Alliance; Women's Club; Tri-Municipal Human Rights Committee; LMC-TV; United Way.
