![]() Identify theft is the fastest growing crime in the United States, according to John Gaccione, Westchester County’s Acting Director of Consumer Protection. At the November 19th Local Summit’s breakfast meeting, Mr. Gaccione shared that there are more than 10 million victims of identity theft annually, affecting 19 people per minute. Also participating in the program was Mamaroneck Town Police Det. Lt. Matthew Melrose. Together the panelists offered advice on how to prevent identity theft and what action to take if it should occur. For more information:
